Since 2010, we’ve served the pets and people of northern Michigan with 24/7 emergency and critical care. We’re proud to be privately owned and locally operated, allowing us to make decisions based on what’s best for our patients. Every upgrade to our hospital, every piece of equipment we add, and every protocol we put in place is driven by one mission: to give your pet the very best chance at healing.
Our founding veterinarian opened the hospital with a simple but powerful goal: to bring advanced emergency care to a region that didn’t have it. Today, his daughter, Dr. Karen Seiple, carries on that legacy with hands-on leadership and a heartfelt commitment to treating every patient like her own.

An Emergency Veterinary Hospital Designed for Critical Moments
We’ve thoughtfully designed our facility to meet the highest standards of emergency care. Our recent remodel includes a newly expanded Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and a second fully equipped surgical suite, allowing us to respond swiftly to the most urgent cases.
Most ICU kennels double as oxygen units, which are essential for pets experiencing respiratory distress, heart failure, or head trauma. Every decision in our layout and equipment selection was made with one goal in mind: faster treatment, smoother recovery, and better outcomes for your pet.
