Kenneth Rogers DVM
Dr. Kenny Rogers is a 2011 graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Michigan State University, where he also obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Cell and Developmental Biology.
During his time at MSU, he focused on the production of animal medicine and participated in several research projects. These projects included investigating the efficiency of swine hormonal drugs and their superovulation effects, assisting in the development of a technique that created the ability to effectively obtain samples for disease testing through saliva, and taking part in a public health project that helped determine the exposure of 4H participants to gastrointestinal disease from their livestock.
Upon graduating from MSU, Dr. Rogers settled in the Petoskey area. There, he worked on both large and small animals in a distinguished practice, which he credits with the vast expansion of his knowledge and skill set.
Dr Rogers joined Bay Area Pet Hospital in 2015. He is known for his keen eye for detail and his ability to quickly and thoroughly work through complex medical cases. In addition to providing exceptional veterinary care to our patients, Dr. Rogers remains very active within the veterinary community, representing our region as a board member of the Michigan Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Rogers is originally from Sault Ste. Marie and is excited to remain in Northwestern Michigan. Dr. Rogers enjoys trail running, Nordic skiing, and the many events that this beautiful city has to offer.
