Dan Inman DVM

Dr. Dan Inman graduated from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Bio-Engineering with a focus on tissue engineering from Virginia Tech while also obtaining minors in English and Chemistry. He earned multiple awards during his schooling, participated in and presented multiple research projects in the area of tendon engineering, and was awarded the American Animal Hospital Association Award for Proficiency in Primary Care.

Following graduation, Dr. Inman relocated to Vermont for a year-long internship at Burlington Emergency and Veterinary Specialists (BEVS), learning under the guidance of multiple board-certified veterinary specialists. The internship’s primary focus was emergency medicine, with BEVS being the only 24-hour facility in the state. Following his internship, he elected to stay at BEVS for an additional six-month-long surgical fellowship concentrating on soft tissue and emergent procedures. His favorite areas of veterinary medicine are emergency medicine, soft tissue surgery, and the human-animal connection.

Dr. Inman joined Bay Area Pet Hospital in March of 2019 and is excited to be in the Traverse City area and close to family. When not at the hospital, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and exploring the Traverse City area.
